Age UK Milton Keynes is set to host its first ever dedicated Match Day in partnership with MK Irish Football Club, bringing together local football, fundraising and community spirit at Manor Fields in Bletchley.
The event will take place on Saturday 17 October 2026, when MK Irish FC take on Hadley FC, with kick-off at 3pm.
The special Match Day forms part of the growing partnership between Age UK Milton Keynes and MK Irish FC and will give supporters the chance to enjoy an afternoon of football while helping raise awareness and funds for the charity’s work with older people across Milton Keynes.
Age UK Milton Keynes supports older residents across the city through a range of services, advice and community support. The Match Day will provide an opportunity to highlight that work while encouraging more people to get involved with the charity.
A number of activities are planned throughout the day, with opportunities for supporters and visitors to help raise much-needed funds. Further details about those activities are expected to be announced in the run-up to the event.
The partnership with MK Irish FC also gives Age UK Milton Keynes the chance to reach new audiences and strengthen links between local sport and the wider community.
The charity says it is delighted to be working with a thriving local football club and hopes the first Match Day will become a memorable occasion for everyone involved.
