Hotshots Sports Bar has been selected by the Junior Darts Corporation (JDC) to host the 2026 Series 7 East Midlands Regional Final, which will take place on Saturday 5th September.

The announcement marks a significant milestone for the Milton Keynes venue, which only launched its official JDC Academy around five months ago.
In that short time, Hotshots has grown its academy to more than 30 junior players, become an official host venue for JDC Volt ranking events, launched its Hotshots Darts Summer Camp, and quickly established itself as one of the leading venues for junior darts in the East Midlands.
The East Midlands Regional Final will bring together the top 32 junior players from across the region, who have earned their place after competing in a series of ranking events held at 10 JDC Volt venues. A total of 116 junior players have competed throughout the Series 7 campaign, making qualification for the Regional Final a significant achievement.
Hotshots' selection to host the event represents a major endorsement from the Junior Darts Corporation and highlights the rapid progress the venue has made in developing opportunities for young players.
Adding to the excitement, three players from the Hotshots JDC Academy are currently in qualifying positions for the Regional Final, demonstrating the success of the academy in its first few months.
The academy is also home to the current JDC Series 6 East Midlands Regional Champion, who has since gone on to represent England in Las Vegas and now competes on the prestigious JDC Advanced Tour. The venue also boasts the current number two ranked junior player in the East Midlands, further cementing its reputation as a centre for developing elite young darts talent.
A spokesperson for Hotshots Sports Bar said:
"We're incredibly proud to have been selected by the JDC to host such an important event. When we launched the academy just a few months ago, our goal was simply to create a welcoming environment where young people could learn, improve and enjoy darts.
"To have grown so quickly, to already be producing some of the region's top young players, and now to be trusted with hosting the East Midlands Regional Final is something we're extremely proud of.
"This is about much more than one event. It's proof of what's possible when you invest in grassroots sport and give young players the right opportunities. We're looking forward to welcoming the very best junior darts players from across the East Midlands to Milton Keynes."
The JDC Series 7 East Midlands Regional Final will take place at Hotshots Sports Bar, Mount Farm, Bletchley, on Saturday 5th September, with the region's best young players competing for the title and progression within the JDC pathway.
The event further strengthens Milton Keynes' growing reputation as a destination for junior darts and reinforces Hotshots Sports Bar's commitment to supporting and developing the next generation of talent.
