Milton Keynes Lightning continued their impressive run of form with a 4-2 victory over Romford Raiders at Planet Ice Milton Keynes on Saturday night.
It was a hard-fought encounter in front of the home crowd, with Lightning having to work for the result against a determined Romford side.
MKL ultimately got the job done, securing another important victory on home ice and extending their winning run to three games in a row.
There is little time for the team to celebrate, however, as Lightning are straight back into action today.
They travel to face Bristol Pitbulls on Sunday, with the puck scheduled to drop at 5:15pm.
It gives MK Lightning the opportunity to complete an excellent weekend and make it four consecutive victories.
