The showcase provides a unique platform for OTD Academy students of all ages to step behind the decks and perform in front of a live audience. For many of the students taking part, this will be their very first public performance, making the event an exciting milestone in their musical journey.

The event reflects OTD Academy's mission to make music education accessible, engaging, and confidence-building for people of all ages and backgrounds. Through DJ, music production, and vocal expression lessons, the Academy helps students develop creative skills while building self-esteem, resilience, and performance confidence.

Attendees will have the opportunity to watch the students perform live and experience the progress they have made through their lessons and workshops.

In addition to the performances, audience members will also be invited to try the DJ decks themselves, giving aspiring DJs and curious visitors the chance to experience the equipment first-hand and learn more about the art of DJing.

The OTD Academy team will be on hand throughout the event with an information and merchandise stall, where visitors can find out more about the Academy's range of lessons, workshops, school programmes, and community initiatives.

Anyone interested in joining can speak directly with the team and even sign up on the day. Lessons and workshops are available for all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to aspiring performers.
