Children's Team Sports Could Be Heading For An Early Kick Off

On Monday, Boris Johnson is due to announce his roadmap out of lockdown and with rising concerns over children's mental and physical health, the government may be set to allow children's team sports back in March.

Schools are expected to be returning from 8th March and the possibility of children's sports teams returning at the end of the month.

Adults may not be so lucky as it seems they may need to wait until May before returning.

Although only speculation, The Times Newspaper seem confident after latest reports suggest these are the steps the government will be taking. This all of course depends on the cases continuing on a downward slope, so that the NHS doesn't become overwhelmed once again.

Local Coach and owner of Lets Kick It Dan Smith said, ''It's clearly very important that children get back to doing what they love but the effects of lockdown are clearly impacting on the children's Physical and Mental health, so it's even more important than 'just a game.' Lifting these restrictions are a priority if we want to help protect the young peoples health.''

Fingers crossed this is the start of the end.
