Rae Lee has been appointed as Creative Producer for the 2023 edition of IF: Milton Keynes International Festival.
Rae is an independent producer, whose most recent roles include Executive Producer for the award-winning contemporary circus company Gandini Juggling, who performed at last year’s Festival. Over the past nine years, she has produced work indoors and outdoors across the creative industries in circus, dance and theatre, both nationally and internationally.
In 2021 Rae set up the children’s theatre company Theatre Lark with a focus on extending the reach of the arts and those that take part.
Speaking about her appointment, Rae said: “I am incredibly excited to have joined the Festival team in Milton Keynes. The International Festival continues to be a fantastic opportunity to co-create and to engage with world-renowned performers in hugely exciting ways. I am thrilled to take the Festival’s audiences on the next part of their journey and am very much looking forward to the year ahead.”
Monica Ferguson, Chief Executive & Artistic Director of The Stables, which produces the Festival, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Rae to the team. She brings with her a wealth of skills and experience, and we look forward to working with her to create another memorable 10 Festival days for Milton Keynes next July.”
The Festival will take place from 21-30 July next year.
