Founder of charity, Marion Turner, sadly passes away.

GranPart is a local organisation that supports grandparents who for a number of reasons, are not able to see their grandchildren.

It may be something that many take for granted but GranPart has been a lifeline for so many people throughout Milton Keynes.


Founder, Marion Turner, has sadly passed away after a battle with Covid-19.


A spokesperson said, ''Marion worked tirelessly for the rights of grandchildren, taking the cause to the very heart of government. I was always inspired by her commitment and conviction for trying to get changes, and raising awareness.''


''She was literally a life saver to so many grandparents, in the darkest of days she would be there for them, holding out that hand of friendship and kindness.''


Tributes have come flooding in for Marion after her efforts impacted so many, not just in 'normal' times but throughout the pandemic too.


''Marion embraced the trials and tribulations of zoom, as we all have over this difficult year, she was determined to continue giving support to grandparents in anyway she could''
