244 members of the community came together to create lasting pieces of work, inspired by and using materials from Great Linford Manor Park, that will be displayed in community buildings for everyone to enjoy.
The project, run by MK Community Foundation, was a huge success, with so many people coming together to create amazing pieces of art.
A spokesperson for the MK Community Foundation said, ''The Friends of Great Linford Manor Park Textile Project was designed to strengthen the local community and create something of lasting value that reflects the area, engaging people of all ages, gender, ethnicity and abilities. The project was a vehicle for bringing people together to carry out a project with a common purpose.''
One of the community members who took part in the project said, “I enjoyed having a go at new creative techniques to contribute to the project and there was a friendly, can-do attitude from everyone.”
Great work by everybody involved.
