The latest information from Milton Keynes Council on the Regeneration of the Lakes Estate.
Ground investigations update (September 2021)
A contractor has now been appointed to complete the ground investigations which will help design the foundations of the 202 new homes that MK Council is building in Phase A of the Lakes Estate regeneration project. Ground investigations are set to start by the end of September and last for six to eight weeks.
The work will involve drilling deep holes and digging trial pits in various locations within the estate. Residents living near to the investigation sites will be notified by the council’s contractors about what’s happening and how long it'll last. The work will only be done during usual working day hours, but we apologies in advance for any potential noise you may hear. Each investigation site will be secured by surrounding safety barriers and contractors will be onsite to ensure the health and safety of their team and local residents.
