MK Community Foundation launches Co-Workspace that will further support the community

Now, you can give back to your community whilst you work!

As lockdown is eased and we no longer need to work from home many of us have changed how we work and commute. Milton Keynes Community Foundation are proud to welcome George Anson, High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire, to officially open the doors of their brand new co-working facility.

On the third floor of Acorn House, with superb views over Central Milton Keynes, the new shared office facility offers a modern environment for people to escape their home office, connect with like-minded individuals or save time commuting.

High-speed gigabit Wi-Fi, meeting room access, an on-site kitchen and a range of flexible packages, starting from only £17.50, are just some of many benefits that make this the ideal space from which to run your business, get respite from the home office or provide a temporary base while working in Milton Keynes.

The new Co-Workspace sees the launch of Fairspace MK, an MK Community Foundation subsidiary brand. Fairspace will be at the heart of Milton Keynes in more ways than one, providing flexible working and meeting spaces in a contemporary setting, aligning with the Community Foundation’s mission to make our community fairer, by sending the profits to local causes in need.

Vanessa Bradley, Operations Director at MK Community Foundation, said “We’re so thrilled to be able to provide Milton Keynes with this new alternative to home-working, giving local entrepreneurs the opportunity to make new connections and work from a fresh environment, whilst being able to further support our local community. Surplus will go back into the community via MK Community Foundation’s grant making programmes, sending funding to charities and community groups who are helping some of the most vulnerable people locally.”
