Milton Keynes City Council is inviting residents to come together, connect with their neighbours and find out more about local services at a series of community events taking place across the city this year.

The events have been organised by the My Neighbourhoods Group, made up of council tenants and the city council to help bring communities closer and give people a chance to get more involved in their local area.
Cabinet Member for Housing, Cllr Ed Hume, joined the group earlier this week as they made final preparations ahead of the first event this weekend.
Ten events will be organised in different areas across Milton Keynes over the next year. Each event is free to attend and open to everyone. Residents can enjoy refreshments and activities, meet neighbours, and speak to council teams and partners about things that matter most to them, including getting housing advice. They’ll also be able to find out how to get involved in improving their neighbourhood.
