Staff and customers in New Bradwell raise funds in memory of much loved co-op worker

Milton Keynes Hospital Charity yesterday thanked the Co-op in New Bradwell for raising hundreds of pounds for their charity in memory of their colleague, Gail.

Earlier this year Gail, who was a devoted mum, nana and much loved and respected member of her local community, sadly lost her life to Covid-19.

Gail, who had dedicated 20 years to working at the Co-op, had been a keyworker and remained at work throughout the pandemic. Her colleagues and customers from the shop decided to raise some money in her memory to pay their respects and chose to support MK Hospital charity.

On Facebook, MKHC said, ''After much hard work an incredible £450 was raised which will go a long way in helping other patients and their families at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

We would like to say a special thank you to everyone who donated in memory of Gail, who will be very much missed by all''

Well done to all involved, amazing community spirit for a great cause.

Rest in peace Gail, you will be missed.
