Resident of Milton Keynes, Mary Peak Sadly passed away on 9th April 2021.

Son of Mary, James, shared some amazing memories with us of his late Mother, who was clearly a well loved lady.
Mary was born in Greenock Scotland on May 23rd 1920 and she moved to Milton Keynes in 1975.
Mary bought her first house in Stacey Bushes after securing a job as a manager of the local slipper factory. Fast forward a few years and a job, Mary ended her working career aged 75, in John Lewis CMK.
She drove a car until she was 75 and remained independent until 2018 at which point she entered Ashby House care home in Eaglestone. Ever the determined lady, when Mary lost the ability to walk she took to a fantastic electric scooter which she enjoyed.

Mary, being the character she was, was extremely eager to keep busy and she wanted to help make more of a difference, so, whilst at Ashby House, she became a care home ambassador and would help new people settle in.
Mary turned 100 last May but her family could not celebrate with her due to Covid guidelines.
Mary passed away on the 9th April 2021. She leaves 5 children, 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren behind, with many loving memories and much love.
Rest In Peace Mary Peak.
Never forgotten.
