MK Community Hub began in 2011 with one simple idea, to create a space dedicated entirely to Milton Keynes.

At the time, local news and media often felt diluted by national headlines. Important stories, small businesses, community voices and local wins were getting lost in the noise. MK Community Hub was built to change that. No distractions. No filler. Just Milton Keynes.

 

We started with zero followers.​ No audience. No shortcuts. No paid hype. Just a commitment to consistently show up for the city and the people in it.

Over the years, that commitment has grown into a community of more than 78,000 followers, built entirely through organic connection with real local people and real local businesses.

In the last year alone, our content reached 156 million views. That reach is not driven by gimmicks or automation. It is powered by genuine engagement, shared pride in our city and meaningful conversations within the community.
