50 Meter Fire Spread In Bletchley

On 12/08 Fire Services were called to the Blue Lagoon in Bletchley, responding to a fire call.

It was reported that an area of grass, 50 metres by 50 metres, was well alight and spreading to a wooded area.

One appliance and crew from Broughton and one from Newport Pagnell attended.

Firefighters used One extended hose reel, one main jet, Beaters and A thermal imaging camera to monitor and manage the fire from spreading further.

Thames Valley Police have been notified of the incident.
