Join Wolverton Gilbert & Sullivan Society aboard the HMS Pinafore for a hilarious tale of love, honour and duty. Josephine, the daughter of Captain Corcoran, falls for lowly sailor Ralph Rackstraw.
However, she’s torn between her true love and her father’s desire for her to marry Sir Joseph Porter, the First Lord of the Admiralty.
This is one of Gilbert & Sullivan’s classic tales of a forbidden love, and the troubles that must be overcome before our hero and heroine can be together and, as usual, there’s a dramatic twist at the end of the story.
The show sails into Stantonbury Theatre, MK14 6BN, on Wednesday 10 May to Saturday 13 May and the ship docks at 7.30pm each evening.
