A Wembley Dream Come True For Newport Pagnell Town FC - FA VASE MAGIC!

This Sunday, Newport Pagnell Town FC head to Wembley for a historic cup final, supported by thousands!

An absolutely astounding cup run will see Newport Pagnell turn Green this weekend as The Swans are off to iconic Wembley Stadium to face Littlehampton FC in the FA Vase Final.

Yes, that's right, from just a small town to one of the most famous stadiums in world football, Newport Pagnell have a chance to lift a trophy infront of over 6500 travelling fans.

The town has really come together and shown its green colour through previous rounds, with the last two cup home games selling out in record time. Now it's time for the players to grace the hallow turf and attempt to bring the cup home in what is the biggest achievement in the clubs 59 year history.

Where: Wembley Stadium

When: Sunday 22nd May @ 12.15pm

Who: Newport Pagnell Town FC v Littlehampton FC

Being a part time footballer is never easy, as the commitment and sacrifice needed to work a full time job and then focus on health, fitness and football training week in week out, is something that is often forgotten and we take nothing at all away from the team, regardless of the result, who have thrown everything they've got at this challenge, which is why this dream has come alive.

They certainly deserve the opportunity to play on the Wembley pitch for the first and potentially the last time (who knows eh!?)

As massive shout must go out to all of the volunteers who week in week out, give up their time and dedicate their lives to helping to make these dreams a reality, not just for the players but for the friends, family of players, and fans too.

Newport Pagnell Town FC has a fantastic youth setup with over 600 club members playing grassroots football, from toddlers right through to adults, including disability teams to. Without the volunteers, none of this could ever be possible.

If you cannot get to the game you can watch the game LIVE on BT SPORT 1 from 12pm
