Thames Valley Police have been made aware that there has been an increase in Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) outside Lidl and Tesco on Oldbrook Boulevard.
The ASB consists of begging, abusive/aggressive behaviour towards members of staff/visitors to the retail outlets and street drinking.
A quote from the TVP Facebook page says, ''This behaviour is totally unacceptable and will not be tolerated. The neighbourhood team are working with the retail outlets and the public to deal with these issues. Several persons have been identified by officers and are going to be issued with a Community Protection Warning (CPW) in due course. The CPW/CPNs are designed to stop a person aged 16 and over, business or organisation committing antisocial behaviour (ASB) which spoils the community’s quality of life.''
A Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) has been put in place to deal with the street drinking.
The PSPO gives police and other authorised persons the power to confiscate alcohol, and/or issue a £100 fixed penalty notice when people are drinking alcohol and are causing or likely to cause anti-social behaviour .
If you visiting the outlets please report any of the above behaviour to Thames Valley Police via 101 or report here online.
