Armistice Day Observance to be held at Milton Keynes Rose, Campbell Park

Local people welcome to attend on Thursday 11 November at 11.00am

At the end of the First World War, on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918, the guns of the Western Front fell silent after more than four years of continuous warfare. Since the end of the war, Armistice Day has been commemorated on 11 November, with a two-minute silence at 11.00am.


A short observance of Armistice Day will be held at the Milton Keynes Rose, Campbell Park on Thursday 11 November 2021. Members of the public are welcome.


Whilst there are no official COVID-19 restrictions in place, attendees are asked to be mindful of others and maintain social distancing for the ceremony. Please note there will be no public seating available. Photographs and video will be taken at the event.
