On Wednesday 30th March, the Bus Shelter MK officially opened their new site.
The Mayor of Milton Keynes, Andrew Geary, officially opened the new site for local charity Bus Shelter MK.
On their Facebook page they said,
''It’s been a special afternoon in Stantonbury with the official opening of our new site. Thank you Mayor Of Mk for cutting the ribbon of George House, where over the next ten years we’ll be able to help around 350 MK rough sleepers get back on their feet.''
The Bus Shelter provide shelter, food, and support for residents, who are rough sleepers looking to make the right progress towards a life of independence away from the streets.
