With government restrictions being in place for so long now due to covid-19, life got us thinking about some of the good old days of Milton Keynes nightlife, including this beauty, EMPIRE (prior to Empire it was Flamingos)
The Milton Keynes Leisure Plaza was built in 1990 and housed Megabowl, an Ice Rink (Planet Ice), an Argos, a Homebase store and a Nightclub (The Empire, formally Golden Flamingos).
Many large events took place at Flamingoes / Empire as it created fond memories in many party people's minds from the late 90’s, before closing in 2004.
