Go outside and meet the ponies this Easter with Ride High

If you’d like to get your children outside for some fun in the fresh air, why not visit your local equestrian centre to meet the horses this Easter?

Set in 37 acres of beautiful green space in Loughton, the Ride High Equestrian Centre has organised an actioned-packed holiday programme full of fun activities for children aged between 3 and 14. Spending time with horses improves our health and wellbeing, and interacting with the gentle, friendly ponies at Ride High improves children’s confidence as they learn new skills in a supportive, fun and friendly environment.

Never ridden a pony before? Pony Hour and Pony Morning/Afternoon activities are ideal for beginners: In these sessions children will enjoy a pony ride, but they’ll also get hands-on brushing and caring for the ponies.

For younger children (aged 3-12) there’s a Ridden Easter Egg Trail on Good Friday that includes a fun, led pony ride to gather eggs as well as an egg to take home with them at the end of the session. There’s also a Tots’ session where parents can stay and get involved, helping to lead their child on a pony!

Led hacks are also a great opportunity for a mini adventure on horseback.

Booking Easter activities at the Ride High Equestrian Centre also supports the community as the profits from the Equestrian Centre are used to support the Ride High children’s charity that works with vulnerable and disadvantaged children across Milton Keynes.
