Local children’s charity Ride High is inviting you to take part in their Cycle Challenge this summer

After the success of their first event last year, it’s returning bigger and better for 2022, with brand new 50 and 100 mile road routes and a 100 mile relay route too!

You can enter as a team of up to eight people or join one of the charity’s guided groups led by an experienced cyclist.

The road routes will start and finish at Ride High in Milton Keynes, and there will be scheduled stops and roaming support throughout. This is a fun and friendly challenge, open to everyone (aged 18+) and at the finish line there’ll be a celebratory barbeque for you and your supporters, and medals hand-decorated by the Ride High children.

On the lead-up to the event Ride High will organise online sessions and training rides to help prepare and support you. You’ll also receive a Ride High cycling vest for the big day. Registration is £25 - £40 (dependent on your route) and fundraising targets apply.

If you need some motivation to get outside and get healthy, then the Cycle Challenge could be just what you need!

Feedback from participants in 2021 was fantastic - James Farmbrough, RSM, said: “Thanks for a really well organised and enjoyable event. Great route, supportive volunteers and a really special medal – I’ve had dozens of medals over the years but none as meaningful as this one!”

Ride High supports children whose challenging circumstances and traumas make everyday life a struggle. They use horses as a vehicle to help transform their lives. Covid has had a huge impact on children’s mental health and wellbeing and the charity are seeing a surge in the demand for their services. Now in their 13th year, Ride High has helped to transform the lives of over 1,700 children and young people. You can help them to make a difference to many more young lives by taking part in their Cycle Challenge in 2022!

The event takes place on Sunday 14th August. For more information please visit:
