Newport Pagnell Town will meet Hamworthy United at Willen Road in the Semi Final of the FA Vase which see's them just one win away from a visit to Wembley.
The Swans have claimed some impressive scalps on route beating Harpenden Town, London Colney, Whittlesey Athletic in the earlier rounds. Then home ties against Leighton Town, Fakenham Town and Buckland Athletic saw the Swans record excellent victories in front of large crowds, recording the biggest attendance for a competitive match at Willen Road of 1,186 against Buckland.
The Quarter Final proved to be a memorable affair with over 500 Swans fans travelling to Whitchurch Alport. Victory over the Shropshire outfit saw the Swans make history by reaching the Semi Final stage for the first time.
Both teams play at the same level of football, the Swans are currently 3rd in the United Counties League Premier South while Hamworthy United are 1st in the Wessex League Premier. The Swan’s opponents are themselves creating history, their previous best appearance was a 4th round defeat against Willand Rovers in 2018-19.
