Shoppers at Midsummer Place were treated to unexpected surprises yesterday (Tuesday 17 February) as the centre celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Day in heart-warming style.

The centre’s much-loved mascot, Bobbly Bubbles, was spotted throughout the day secretly paying for shoppers’ treats at some of the centre’s most popular spots — including Five Guys, Starbucks, Mr Pretzels, House of Slides and Churros.
From burgers and coffees to sweet treats and family fun, lucky visitors found their goodies unexpectedly covered — sparking smiles, surprise and plenty of joyful moments across the centre.
Kirsty McGiff, Marketing Manager at Midsummer Place, said:
“Random Acts of Kindness Day is all about spreading positivity, and we wanted to give our visitors a little lift when they least expected it. Seeing the reactions — from surprised smiles to happy tears — was truly special. Bobbly Bubbles loved being our undercover kindness hero for the day.”
The feel-good initiative forms part of Midsummer Place’s ongoing commitment to creating memorable experiences for visitors — proving that sometimes the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference.
