At Milton Keynes University Hospital, the Pharmacy Department have over 100 staff members who look after the medication needs and safety of patients.
The team have recently gained access to a courtyard in the Trust, and would like to make it an area for staff to relax in and enjoy.
Studies have shown that Gardens can have a profound effect on the health and wellbeing of all of us. The presence of plants and the act of tending the garden are both beneficial in reducing stress, depression and anxiety. A garden provides a tranquil area to enjoy a few moments of peace and quiet, where nature can transport us away from our busy lives.
