The Willen Ice Cream Company is immensely proud to have received one Great Taste star for its ‘Simply Dairy’ ice cream at the recent Great Taste Awards - the world’s largest and most trusted food and drink awards.
Established in 2017, the independent and family run ice cream company hand-crafts premium dairy, dairy free and vegan artisan ice creams using the finest and, where possible, locally sourced natural ingredients.
The ‘Simply Dairy’ ice cream went through a rigorous and independent judging process by a number of food experts; which resulted in The Willen Ice Cream Company being awarded with one star for creating a product that delivers on ‘fantastic flavours’.
The ice cream was described by the judges as:
