MK Charities have recently announced their first fundraising event since they launched july 2020. A not for profit organisation who provides a platform for local Milton Keynes charities helping raise awareness to our community, businesses and beyond whilst the organisation provides the community with who to volunteer for, donate to and enjoy the events of.
This bank holiday Sunday they are hosting with The Burnt Oak in Shenley Brook End, Milton Keynes a charity family funday where they will be supporting two local charities, raising funds and awareness for them.
First charity being YiS, an independent, young people’s mental health charity who support and provide counselling, education, training and more to improve mental health and wellbeing in the local area. Second charity is Harry’s Rainbow, a bereavement charity who support children and young people in the Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, who have been bereaved of a parent or sibling. As well as providing information and guidance on our website and social networking sites, we provide various bereavement support services. These include regular support groups, activities and trips, and individual tailored support, as appropriate.
Join the local community on Sunday 29th August between 12pm and 6pm at The Burnt Oak (Shenley brook End) for this charity family funday where you are invited to bring your family, friends and loved ones along to a bank holiday weekend fun. There will be a BBQ, DJ, Children’s Disco, Raffle, Soft Play thanks to Leighton Soft Play and much more - don’t forget some change to help support YiS and Harry’s Rainbow.
