The new store that opened its doors for the first time at 8am today marks the fifth Lidl in the area, joining 4 other stores throughout Milton Keynes.
Where is the new Lidl? Wolverton Road in Blakelands, near Newport Pagnell.
The store has a 1,410m squared sales area and has facilities such as an instore bakery, customer toilets, ample parking for both cars, bicycles and electrical vehicle charging. It's a welcome addition to the area but some residents are not entirely pleased due to the impact stores such as this have on local independent businesses.
