Nobody Left Behind: The Run Club That’s Changing Lives, Not Just Finish Times

In the heart of Milton Keynes, a revolution in community, compassion and personal breakthrough is quietly lapping up miles — and hearts.

Founded by the incomparable Chadrack Kiyama, Nobody Left Behind (NLB) is more than just a running club. It’s a movement. One that’s shifting the culture around fitness, friendship, and mental health — one run at a time.

The ethos? It's in the name. Nobody — and we mean nobody — gets left behind.

This isn’t about chasing PBs or proving you’re faster than the next person. It’s about showing up, no matter where you’re at — physically, mentally, emotionally — and knowing someone will walk or run right beside you.

And if you need a living example, look no further than the recent Milton Keynes Half Marathon. Chadrack could have run his own race. Could’ve been front and centre. But instead, he chose to stay back — pacing not for the medal, but for the moment. He ran with someone who’d never considered themselves a runner. Who never wanted to run. But because Chadrack believed in them, they believed too — and they crossed that finish line together. I AM THAT SOMEONE. I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD, AND I DID.

And that’s the magic of NLB.

Time and time again, people will tell you: this isn’t just a run club. This is a safe haven. A space where depression loses its grip, where isolation gets left in the dust, and where self-doubt starts to shrink — replaced by sweat, laughter, and the most non-judgemental, life-giving vibes you’ll ever encounter.

From seven mates and a simple 5K in 2024 to now over 760 runners strong, with zero fees and meetups across Milton Keynes and beyond — the ripple effect is real. Young, old, fit, unfit, fast, slow — if you're breathing, you belong here.

What a man. What a mission. What a movement.

Chadrack’s leadership is proof that true greatness isn’t found at the front of the pack — it’s found in the quiet decision to look over your shoulder and make sure everyone’s still with you. We win some. We lose some, but we stand strong.

His life is not without it's share of troubles but his testimony supersedes that.

He is a fighter. Not defined by what was, looking forward to what is to come.

Lives are changing in this generation because of movements like this.

Our youth are coming together to build, not to tear down. This is what it's all out. This is what we love about MK.

This is community. This is heart. This is NLB.

NLB to the world!!!!!!

WHAT A BLESSING THIS INITIATIVE HAS BEEN ME PERSONALLY, BUT TO MK AS A WHOLE...
