OTD Studios & Academy Expands to 11 Schools for September 2026

Buckinghamshire-based music education provider OTD Studios & Academy has announced its largest expansion to date, with DJ and Music Production 1-to-1 lessons set to be delivered across 11 schools from September 2026.

The milestone marks a significant step forward for the Academy, which began delivering school-based peripatetic lessons in just one school during September 2025. Over the past academic year, demand from students, parents and music departments has continued to grow, leading to a substantial expansion of the programme across Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas.

OTD Studios & Academy states that from September 2026 it will be delivering lessons across 11 schools, making the upcoming academic year its biggest yet.

The Academy specialises in DJing and Music Production , providing students with access to professional-standard equipment and industry-led tuition. Lessons are designed to complement existing music education, support GCSE Music coursework where applicable, and provide an alternative creative pathway for students interested in modern music technology.

Looking Ahead

Speaking about the expansion, OTD Studios & Academy has highlighted its ambition to make modern music education more accessible to young people, helping students develop creativity, confidence, technical skills and a deeper connection with music through hands-on learning experiences.

The Academy believes that DJing and Music Production are becoming increasingly relevant within contemporary music education and can provide valuable opportunities for students of all abilities and backgrounds. They are already working very closley with MKCC on activities across the care centre.

With lessons now reaching 11 schools and further anticipated enquiries continuing throughout the summer holidays, September 2026 is set to be a landmark moment for the Academy's mission to bring modern music education into schools across Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and beyond.
