Yesterday, Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust released an announcement explaining that children being taken to hospital for emergency care need to now go to the Milton Mouse Paediatric Unit and not the main hospital A&E.
Temporarily Peadiatric Emergency Department Changes at Milton Keynes University Hospital
Between 8am and 10pm children brought for emergency care should go directly to Milton Mouse.
This change has been implemented due to the rising number of Covid patients requiring treatment in the main hospital.
This info has been communicated out by the Ward manager and will be released formally on a press release on Monday 11th January.
