Put A Spring In Your Step At Willen Lake This Easter

Willen Lake springs into action this Easter holiday with a fantastic new free trail and the official launch of the watersports season.

The free trail is themed with bunnies, chicks and lots of other fun Springy bits. It also features brain teasers and questions to get the little ones thinking, with a prize at the end for anyone who gets the answers right!

The trail will be only available from 1 April– 16 April. It starts at the Watersports Centre where visitors can collect an answer sheet then follow signs around the park. Don’t worry if you’ve got little legs in tow because it’s under 2km long and accessible via buggy, scooter and bike-friendly paths.

Adventure also awaits at Treetop Extreme this Easter holiday. The multi-level high ropes course is perfect for thrill-seeking families with its impressive grand finale – the 13m Treetop Drop.

There’s always plenty to do on the water too, with family-friendly introductory sessions in Paddleboarding and Kayaking that you can book ahead or, simply turn up to the Watersports Centre to hire a pedalo or double kayak.

Aqua Parcs is also back with a big splash – an extension to the inflatable course means it’s better than ever. And, if that’s not enough, check out the Willen Observation Wheel, book an Archery session or get on your bike with Adventure Cycle Hire to build even more fun into the day.

Whilst you're enjoying your visit, pop by the Willen Lake Bar & Kitchen for a hot drink and tasty treats from newly-arrived café operator, Change Please.

Rob Wood, General Manager of Willen Lake, says: “Following the popularity of our Hallowe’en trail in October, we’ve created another free trail for families to enjoy this Spring.

“We’re delighted to be getting visitors back on the water as our watersports season resumes and, as ever, Willen Lake offers plenty of choice for families throughout the holiday. We can’t wait to welcome you there!”
