Two local rival football clubs are taking to the pitch to help raise funds for Willen Hospice this weekend.
On Saturday 19th June at 3pm, football coaches from Aspley Guise FC and Woburn & Wavendon FC will be playing in a charity football match to help raise vital funds for Willen Hospice.
One of the organisers Paul Haywood said, ''in light of COVID 19 and how much smaller charities have suffered, the clubs wanted to organise something for a local charity. The hospice relies heavily on events and donations to go towards the amazing work they do. A small gesture of a charity footy match from 2 local teams in Milton Keynes where the coaches play and donate to play was a popular choice. There will be donation pots around on the day for any spectators, an ice-cream van and MK Pavilion for drinks and food. A jolly afternoon, raising money for a local charity.''
