A planning application has been submitted to Milton Keynes Council for the demolition of a former gasworks in Stony Stratford High Street.
Residents have until the 2nd of March to submit their opinions, views and concerns. There are no plans to restore the the building on the high stress nor any sign of a potential green space increase which would make a difference to the flood that occur throughout the town. The proposed demolition of the property will make way for new housing on the high street.
However, issues raised in the plans include potential flooding by the Great Ouse, drainage and available parking.
