Thames Valley Police Warn Of Royal Mail Scam

Thames Valley Police have issued a warning regarding a scam whereby you receive a text impersonating Royal Mail.


Police officer Ahmed Mohamed said, ''Criminals are taking advantage of reliance on online shopping to scam people. We've been alerted to scam text messages claiming to be from Royal Mail asking for payment by clicking on a link I the message to deliver your parcel or it will be returned.

Stay alert to scam texts.''

Do not click the link and do not enter any bank / payment details through any text that asks for your details.


If you are unsure on the validity of communication received, contact the company direct and ask but do NOT give any personal information.
