Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, two men and a woman have been sentenced for drug offences in Milton Keynes.
Abdi Diriye, aged 26, of Midland Road, Luton, Syed Shah, aged 24, of Dunstable Road, Luton and Melissa Lozano-Piedade, aged 20, of Farthing Grove, Netherfield, Milton Keynes, all pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to supply a controlled class A drug, namely heroin and crack cocaine and one count of acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.
At Aylesbury Crown Court on Thursday (14/9), Diriye was sentenced to five years in prison, Shah was sentenced to four years and four months in prison and Lozano-Piedade was given two years in prison, suspended for two years.
On 1 September 2022, officers forced entry to a property in Hodge Lea, Milton Keynes as part of a pro-active operation into combatting drugs.
Diriye, Shah and Lozano-Piedade, were at the address where 323 wraps of cocaine and heroin, along with a larger rock of crack cocaine were seized along with drug paraphernalia, multiple mobile phones and over £800. The seized drugs had a street value of approximately £5,000.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Janey Holmes said: “I am pleased to see that this conviction has resulted in two substantial prison sentences.
“We will proactively and robustly target and prosecute offenders and our activity will be both visible and covert aimed at disrupting and pursuing offenders involved in the supply of drugs.
