The investigation team for the missing person enquiry for Leah Croucher are aware of a photo circulating on social media, which is of a woman who a number of members of the public have reported as potentially being Leah.
The description of the photo is of a woman in Manchester, who has asked for her picture to be taken and for her mother to know that she is ok.
Officers have been made aware of this photo previously in the course of the investigation. Enquiries have been undertaken and the investigation team are satisfied that the person in the photo is not Leah.
However, we would like to thank the public and are grateful for their continued reports regarding this investigation. Each report received is assessed and investigated accordingly.
