Vagabond Film Festival is a FREE outdoor film festival taking place on the evenings of July 30 and July 31 at the leisure court 12th Street, Milton Keynes.
The two-day film festival will put the spotlight on all things film related, and showcase local creatives and filmmakers work in all their glory as part of the impressive scheduling.
The festival first launched in 2018 as part of the International Festival Milton Keynes, and following its popularity and success, has continued to champion local filmmaking talents through screenings, festivals, and workshops for the local community to appreciate.
On July 30 the beloved Marvel classic, Black Panther will be showcased, which sees T’Challa step forward as the new heir of Wakanda, leading his people along the way. And, on July 31, Vagabond Film Festival will bring you an energy of sing-along fun with the incredible Elton John biopic, Rocketman.
There will also be a debut screening of mixed genre ‘Roundabouts’, the brand-new comedy short created by the Milton Keynes Film Network which was filmed entirely in our beloved town.
There will be food and drinks available throughout the evening from several 12th Street venues, including Bella Italia, Brewhouse and Kitchen, Fireaway, TGI Fridays, Doner Kebab, Kaspa’s Desserts and more.
Attendees can kick back and relax on the plaza deckchairs provided or can alternatively bring their own picnic blankets and chairs. With the exciting programme lined-up of well-loved feature films and short films - the festival is set to be the event of the summer.
