Appeal for witnesses after woman in her twenties was assaulted and damage was caused to a car

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an incident of disorder that happened on Saturday (21/8) at around 10pm in Field Lane, Greenleys.

A woman in her twenties was assaulted and damage was caused to a car. It is thought the offenders may have been carrying weapons.


The victim received bruising to her arm and swelling to her forehead. The victim did not attend hospital.


Two people have been arrested in connection with this offence.


Investigating officer PC Sofia Matthews, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “We are appealing for information following this incident.


“We believe that members of the public may have intervened following this incident and as such we believe may have information in connection with the case.


“Anyone with information should call 101 or go online quoting reference 43210376123 or they can report 100% anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”


A 45-year-old woman from Milton Keynes has been arrested on suspicion of affray, possession of a bladed article and criminal damage. She has been released on police bail until 13 September 2021.


A 44-year-old man from Milton Keynes has been arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon, he has been bailed until 13 September 2021.
