On Saturday 16th November, the school minibus from Caroline Haslett Primary School was stolen from school grounds.
The minibus has been an essential resource in transporting our children to various education, extracurricular and sporting activities, and its loss will cause significant disruption, and additional foreseen expense.
As you can see from the photos, the minibus has been located but has been completely stripped and burnt out beyond any recovery.
A spokesperson from the school said, ''Whilst the vehicle was insured and we are hopeful for a quick resolution from the Insurance Company, the anticipated pay out will fall short of the cost of a replacement minibus. We are asking the wider community to donate anything they are able to afford, no amount is too small as every penny with help.''
