MK Community Foundation have launched an appeal to support vulnerable Ukrainian families and individuals settling in Milton Keynes.
The Community Foundation hope that the appeal will help to ease some of the hardship, isolation and fear faced by individuals as they start their new lives here in our community.
MK Community Foundation are a leading grant making charity with over 35 years of experience in delivering appeals and distributing funds. The Community Foundation support local people who are working to make a real difference to vulnerable, isolated and disadvantaged people in Milton Keynes, sending funding where it’s needed most.
The appeal also aims to support the onward resettlement of refugees to other places in the UK.
Ranjit Singh, Director of Philanthropy at MK Community Foundation, said “MK Community Foundation’s mission to ‘Fund Fairness’ is at the heart of everything we do. We want support those vulnerable refugees who will call MK their home and wish to provide the right support to help them do this”.
