D Day 80th Anniversary Event In Olney

The 6th of June 2024 marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day, when Allied forces mounted the largest amphibious invasion the world has ever witnessed.

To commemorate D Day, the Mayor of Olney, Debbie Whitworth, is organising an event for veterans and their families and anyone else who wishes to attend the event, on Saturday 8th June at The Carlton House Club in Olney  from 3-6pm 

Tickets are £10 each and are available from the Phonebox. The Phonebox ( local magazine ) is located at Unit 2, Stanley Court , Olney

You’ll be entertained by Wendy sings vintage singer, who will take you on a journey through time.

There will also be a raffle and buffet provided.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Royal British Legion.
