Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been sentenced for an aggravated burglary in Milton Keynes.
James Quinn, aged 26 of Ennersdale Road, Lewisham, London pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated burglary and one count of attempting to cause wounding with intent at Amersham Crown Court on Wednesday 5 October 2022.
Quinn was sentenced to 6 years imprisonment at the same court on Thursday (10/11).
On 30 November 2021 Quinn forced his way into a property in Stacey Avenue, Wolverton and stabbed the victim before leaving.
Investigating Officer, Detective Constable Matthew Hodgetts-Tate, based in the Priority Crime Team at Milton Keynes Police Station said: “Aggravated Burglary and attempted GBH are both serious offences which have not only have affected the victim and his family but have also affected the wider community.
“ I am pleased that Quinn has been brought to justice and will face time for his heinous crime and goes to show that we will not tolerate these types of offences within Milton Keynes”.
