Milton Keynes Central Library is now open for visits - no bookings required

Milton Keynes Central Library is now open and there are no restrictions on the length of your visit.

Other libraries throughout MK are also now open! You can find out full details on those libraries by clicking here.


Each library is offering slightly varying services but below is a list of what you can do at most (please check the link above for full clarification.


You can..


- Return books using the self-service kiosks – books can be returned to any of the open libraries

- Browse for books following social distancing and directional guidance (although we would encourage you to browse online prior to your visit)

- Borrow books using the self-service kiosks

- Collect reservations (see additional information)

- Pay fines and charges

- Join the library (we encourage you to join online before your visit to speed up the process)

- Make online reservations for up to 6 items (see additional information)

- Request laminating at Bletchley Library

- Collect books ordered through the Click and Collect service - Only available at certain locations

- There are limited study spaces at Central Library (on a first come, first serve basis)

- There are limited computers for use at Central Library
