Have you got what it takes? In a time where restrictions have been lifted in the UK, and events can now continue, The Burnt Oak in Shenley Brook End is searching for local talent to battle it out to be in with a chance of winning £500 cash prize.
Nathan, proprietor of The Burnt Oak, said when announcing the event “It’s been a tough year for most, especially the hospitality and entertainment sector where everything came to a halt. We want to promote local talent and are so excited to announce the launch of our biggest event yet, the ‘Battle of The Bands’ with a cash prize on offer of £500.”
Musicians must be age 16+, and can be a solo musician or a band living in the Milton Keynes area. Is this Battle of The Bands competition something you want to sign up for? If so, send a demo to burntoak.miltonkeynes@marstons.co.uk by 24th September 2021 with the head line as ‘Battle of The Bands’ where you will be contacted if you have been accepted. You should be available to play from 8th October 2021 and it will be either a Friday or Saturday evening, Contestants will receive details of dates and times once confirmed a place in the competition.
You will be judged by the audience with each person having a vote via secret ballot. The band or solo musician with the least votes will leave the competition each week until only 2 remain for the finals.
