Young Milton Keynes Author Making Waves with Debut Novel and Upcoming Sequel

Fifteen-year-old author Nadia Partyka is already making a name for herself in the literary world after publishing her debut novel Amethyst – Time And Time Again in September 2024.

Since the book’s release, Nadia has taken part in a range of exciting opportunities, including appearances on local radio stations such as 3 Counties and 3Bs, and participation in MK Lit Fest’s first-ever Indie Book Fair. She has also spoken at both her current and former primary schools about her journey as a young author, leading to her work being featured on social media.

Amethyst – Time And Time Again follows the story of Max, a teenager haunted by a deadly mistake from his past, and Amethyst, a confident and mysterious new girl whose arrival changes everything. As Time itself works to “repair” the damage, the pair must put aside their differences and build a time machine before it’s too late. Their mission could determine not only their own fate, but the future of humanity.

Nadia’s writing blends reality and fiction, exploring where the boundaries between the two begin to blur. Themes such as the nature of time, truth, and consequence are central to her work, driven by her fascination with how time truly operates.

She is currently editing the second book in the series, Emerald, which is set for release on May 29th this year. The sequel continues the story while introducing new perspectives and developing familiar characters.

Nadia’s long-term goal is to inspire other young writers and eventually support teen authors with writing, editing, and publishing their own books.
