Police would like to speak to a 6ft tall man with a German Pointer dog after a Parks Trust worker was attached in Campbell Park.
One of the biggest issues we find with the sheep grazing our fields are dogs off leads, chasing the sheep. It causes not only trauma to the animals but in some cases, we have seen sheep killed.
The worker approached the dogs owner to try and resolve the situation which resulted in the worker being assaulted by the man.
The Parks Trust and TVP are now asking anybody who maybe witnessed the incident to call the police on 101 quoting URN 368 of 26022021.
