Kens son Bhupinder posted on social media a tribute to his late father.
“As some of you may be aware, my dad (known to many of you as "Ken") sadly passed away yesterday.
With his wife, daughter Amee Kandola Patel and son by his side, dad passed peacefully after a valiant battle against liver cancer. We are thankful he didn't suffer any pain and his spirit will live on through the many stories and memories he was a part of.
A symbol of the type of man our dad was is in the messages below (which we've loved reading!). He was an amazing, funny, kind person, a piller of the community and a friend to many. Above all else, he was a loving father and husband and he will be dearly missed.
Thank you so much for all the messages. If you have any stories you'd like to share, please do so. It helps us keep his spirit alive. Dad was truly one of a kind ❤️🙏”
Ken will be sorely missed throughout the community.
Our condolences go out to his friends and family at this very difficult time.
